Report & Professional Liability Disclaimer
By using InspectPro Solo to produce inspection reports, you acknowledge and agree to the following.
1. Professional responsibility. You, the inspector, retain full professional responsibility for every report you generate. InspectPro Solo is a tool that formats and presents the information you provide. It does not perform inspections, and it does not assess, verify, or warrant the accuracy or completeness of any finding, rating, or recommendation.
2. Your professional judgment. The app does not replace your professional skills, qualifications, or judgment, or any professional standards, industry codes, or legal requirements that apply to your inspection work (including, where relevant, the Building Act 2004). You are responsible for ensuring each report is accurate, complete, and fit for its purpose.
3. Local storage and backups. Reports and all related data are generated and stored only on your device. Your device holds the only copy. You are responsible for backing up your data, using the in-app ZIP backup (Settings, Data Management) and your device's own backup features. We cannot recover data lost from your device.
4. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, Selah AI Consulting Ltd accepts no liability for any decision made, or action taken, in reliance on a report produced with the app, or for any loss arising from your use of the app or from data loss. Nothing in this disclaimer limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
5. Third-party reliance. This report is prepared by the inspector for their client. Third parties, including prospective property purchasers, lenders, insurers, and agents, should not rely on it as an independent property assessment, and to the extent permitted by law Selah AI Consulting Ltd accepts no liability to any third party who relies on a report produced with the app.
