Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how InspectPro Solo, operated by Selah AI Consulting Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), handles your information. It is written in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

The short version: InspectPro Solo collects no personal data and transmits nothing off your device. There is no account, no server, and no analytics.

1. Who this applies to. This policy applies to everyone who uses InspectPro Solo. The app is a single-user tool for solo inspectors.

2. What we collect. Nothing. The app does not require an account and has no registration, login, or password. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, analytics, or usage data. We operate no server that receives data from the app.

3. Your inspection and client data. The inspection data you create, including client names, property addresses, photos, notes, ratings, and reports, is entered by you and stored only on your device. We never receive it. If your reports include personal information about third parties, you are responsible for having the authority or consent to record it.

4. How and where data is stored. All app data is stored locally on your device as the only copy held within InspectPro Solo. The app makes no network connections of its own and does not sync to any cloud. You can create a full backup yourself via Settings, Data Management (a ZIP file you save wherever you choose), and we recommend using your device's own backup features as well. You are responsible for your own backups; we cannot recover data lost from your device.

5. Third parties. The only third party involved is the app store. Your subscription is purchased and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which are operated by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment details and have no access to your store account. We do not use Stripe, Supabase, analytics providers, or any other third-party service that would receive your data.

6. Offshore transfer. Because no data leaves your device through the app, we make no offshore transfer of your personal information. Apple and Google handle subscription and payment data under their own policies.

7. Security. Your data is protected by your device's own security, for example device encryption and screen lock. Because nothing is transmitted or stored on our servers, there is no server-side data of yours for us to secure or to be breached.

8. Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020. Because your data lives only on your device and under your control, you can access, correct, or delete any of it at any time within the app, or by uninstalling the app. We hold no personal information about you to access or correct. If you believe your privacy rights have been breached, you may complain to us at privacy@aiconsult.co.nz, and if you are not satisfied, to the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz or 0800 803 909.

9. Children. The app is for professional use and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 (and in fact collect nothing from anyone).

10. Changes. We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
