How do I restore my Scholar purchase?

Open the app, go to Settings, and choose Restore Purchases. Your Scholar unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so it restores on any device signed in with the same account.

How does the AI Research feature work?

AI Research is part of Scholar. You supply your own API key from Anthropic or OpenRouter, and your questions are sent directly from your device to that provider using your key. Scribe doesn't run a server in between or store your requests. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is my reading data backed up?

Bookmarks, highlights, and your reading position are stored on your device only. They are not synced to a server, so reinstalling the app or switching devices starts fresh.

Which devices are supported?

Scribe runs on iPhone and iPad (and Android). For the best experience, keep the app updated to the latest version from the App Store.
