InspectPro — Terms of Use
Version 5.2 — Last Updated: April 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of InspectPro ("the App"), a property inspection reporting application operated by Selah AI Consulting Ltd ("InspectPro", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA), the Privacy Act 2020, or any other applicable New Zealand legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For users in Australia: nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be lawfully excluded. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, you may be entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, refund, or compensation.
1. About InspectPro
InspectPro is a professional tool for property inspectors. It enables you to:
- Create and manage property inspection reports
- Document findings with photos and notes
- Generate and share PDF reports
- Manage inspection workflows including client delivery and approval flows
2. Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms apply to all users of the App, including:
- Solo inspectors — individuals who subscribe to InspectPro directly for their own professional use
- Enterprise users — inspection companies and their team members accessing InspectPro under a company subscription
- Trial users — anyone using the App during the free trial period
Where these Terms draw a distinction between consumer and business use:
- Consumers are individuals or businesses acquiring the App where the total price paid does not exceed NZD $40,000 (including GST), or where the App is acquired for personal, domestic, or household use. The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 consumer protections apply to consumers.
- Business users are entities acquiring the App wholly or predominantly for business purposes where the total price exceeds NZD $40,000 (including GST) and the acquisition is not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use. Business users may contract out of certain statutory guarantees where permitted by law (CGA s 43).
If you are unsure which category applies to you, please contact us.
3. Free Trial
InspectPro offers a 10-day free trial with full access to all features. During the trial, you may create up to 10 inspections. After the trial period ends or once the inspection limit is reached, a paid subscription is required to create new inspections. No payment is required during the trial period.
During the trial:
- All report data is stored locally on your device.
- We collect limited diagnostic and usage data as described in our Privacy Policy.
- An account is required to use the App. You must register with a valid email address before you can access any features.
- Report exports are unrestricted during the trial.
After the 10-day trial, a subscription is required to create new inspections and export reports. Your locally saved data remains accessible on your device. We recommend exporting any important reports before your trial expires if you do not intend to subscribe.
4. Subscriptions
4.1 Subscription Plans
InspectPro offers subscription plans for solo inspectors and enterprise teams. The standard monthly subscription is $90.85/month NZD (inc. GST) / $79.00/month ex-GST. Enterprise subscriptions are available at a per-seat rate.
Prices may change with at least 30 days' written notice (by email and/or in-app notification) before any price increase takes effect. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the new price applies. Continuing to use the App after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Full billing terms and cancellation rights are set out in our Billing Policy.
4.2 Solo Inspector Subscriptions
Individual inspectors subscribe directly to InspectPro. A subscription provides one user with full access to all features included in the solo subscription plan, including unlimited report exports.
4.3 Enterprise (Company) Subscriptions
Inspection companies may purchase per-seat subscriptions for their team. Enterprise subscriptions are managed by a company administrator ("Admin"), who may:
- Add and remove inspector seats
- Manage team members' access
- View subscription and billing details
Admins are responsible for ensuring all team members using InspectPro comply with these Terms.
4.4 Billing and Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe (a third-party payment processor). By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method in accordance with the selected plan.
Key billing terms:
- Subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly in advance)
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Refunds and pro-rata adjustments are handled in accordance with our Billing Policy and, for consumers, in accordance with the CGA
Full billing terms, refund rights, and cancellation procedures are set out in our Billing Policy. Where there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Billing Policy regarding billing, refund, or cancellation matters, the Billing Policy prevails — except that nothing in the Billing Policy limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986..
Note: Stripe may process payment data outside New Zealand. Stripe's processing is subject to Stripe's own privacy policy and New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 IPP 11 (transfer to overseas recipients). By subscribing, you consent to the transfer of payment data to Stripe as necessary to process your subscription.
5. User Accounts
- You may create an account using your email address and a password.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep it updated.
- You must not share your account credentials with anyone else or allow others to access your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@aiconsult.co.nz if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Enterprise accounts: Company Admins are responsible for managing team member access. Admins should promptly remove access for team members who leave the organisation.
6. Your Content and Data
6.1 Ownership
You retain all ownership rights in the inspection data, photos, notes, and reports you create using InspectPro. We do not claim any ownership over your content.
6.2 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that content you create and share through InspectPro:
- Is accurate and not misleading
- Complies with all applicable laws, including the Privacy Act 2020
- Does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party
- Does not include inappropriate, defamatory, or unlawful material
If your content includes personal information about third parties (e.g., property owners, clients), you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authority or consent to collect and use that information. InspectPro's obligations regarding your data are set out in our Privacy Policy.
6.3 Storage Architecture
InspectPro uses a local-first storage model:
- Your device is where your data is stored. All inspection data (reports, notes, photos) is stored locally on your device. This is the only copy of your data held within InspectPro.
- Manual backup (user-initiated). You can create a full backup of all data via Settings → Data Management. We recommend regular backups. Restoring from a backup replaces all existing inspection data on your device.
- Device backup. We recommend maintaining your own backups using your device's built-in backup features (e.g. iCloud device backup) as an additional precaution. These are independent of InspectPro.
- Supabase (account data only). Your account credentials and subscription status are stored securely via Supabase. Inspection data is NOT automatically synced to our servers.
- Temporary PDF uploads. When you use the Approval Workflow or Send to Client features, finalised PDF reports are temporarily uploaded to Supabase Storage to enable those features. These PDFs are automatically deleted as follows:
- Approval workflow PDFs: deleted 72 hours after upload
- Client delivery PDFs: deleted 7 days after upload
We recommend saving a local or exported copy of any important PDFs before the applicable deletion window, as we cannot recover deleted PDFs.
Outside of the above temporary PDF upload processes, we do not access your inspection content for any purpose other than providing and improving the App.
6.4 Data Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We provide a manual ZIP backup/export tool via Settings → Data Management, but no backup system is infallible. We strongly recommend performing regular backups, particularly before uninstalling the App, changing devices, or cancelling your subscription.
6.5 Enterprise Data and Inspector Data
Enterprise subscriptions: Where an inspector creates reports under a company account, reports and inspection data created by an inspector under a company account are subject to any agreement between the inspector and the company (e.g., employment agreement or contractor agreement). InspectPro does not determine ownership of content as between inspectors and their companies. On termination of an enterprise subscription or removal of an inspector's seat:
- The inspector retains access to any locally stored data on their own device.
- The company admin may retain access to account-level data (subscription records, usage logs) associated with the company account.
- We will not actively delete an inspector's locally stored data as a result of subscription changes.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use InspectPro only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Create false, misleading, or fraudulent inspection reports
- Use the App in connection with any unlawful activity or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person
- Upload or transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware, or interfere with the App's operation or infrastructure
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the App
- Use the App to collect or harvest personal information without appropriate authority
- Allow unauthorised third parties to access your account
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise the App or your access to it without our written consent
- Engage in any conduct that could damage InspectPro's reputation or the interests of other users
8. Professional Responsibility
InspectPro is a tool to assist with property inspections. It does not replace professional judgment, expertise, or qualifications.
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy and completeness of all inspection reports you create
- Applying your professional skills and knowledge when using the App
- Compliance with any professional standards, industry codes, or legal requirements applicable to your inspection work (including, where applicable, requirements under the Building Act 2004 or other NZ legislation)
- Obtaining appropriate professional indemnity insurance for your inspection activities
InspectPro does not guarantee that reports created with the App will meet any specific professional standard, regulatory requirement, or legal obligation applicable to your circumstances.
9. Service Standards and Warranties
9.1 Our Commitment
InspectPro will provide the App and its associated services with reasonable care and skill. We will take reasonable steps to maintain App availability and data security.
9.2 Consumer Guarantees Act (Consumers Only)
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If the CGA applies to your use of the App, you have statutory rights (including rights to receive services of acceptable quality) that cannot be excluded by contract.
If the App fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the CGA and the failure is:
- Minor: We will remedy the failure within a reasonable time. If we fail to do so, you may have the failure remedied by another party and recover reasonable costs from us, or obtain a price reduction.
- Major: You may reject the services and obtain a refund, or keep the services and obtain compensation for the reduction in value.
9.3 Business Users
If you are acquiring the App wholly or predominantly for the purposes of a business (and the CGA does not apply to your acquisition), we exclude, to the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, conditions, and representations not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9.4 Service Availability
We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times without interruption. We will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice of planned maintenance. We are not liable for interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control (including third-party infrastructure outages, telecommunications failures, or force majeure events).
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Consumers
Nothing in this section limits InspectPro's liability to consumers under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
10.2 Business Users
If you are a business user and the CGA does not apply to your acquisition:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InspectPro's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising under or in connection with these Terms or your use of the App (whether in contract, tort including negligence, statute, or otherwise) shall not exceed the greater of:
- (a) the total subscription fees you paid to InspectPro in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- (b) NZD $500
InspectPro excludes all liability for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, or anticipated savings
- Loss or corruption of data (except where caused by InspectPro's wilful misconduct)
- Business interruption
- Third-party claims against you arising from your use of the App
10.3 General
These limitations apply regardless of the form of action and even if InspectPro has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in this section excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11. Indemnification
This indemnification obligation applies only to business users (as defined in section 2). Nothing in this clause requires a consumer to indemnify InspectPro beyond what is permitted by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Business users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InspectPro and its directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your material breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Any third-party claim arising from content you create or share using the App
- Your negligent or wilful acts or omissions in connection with your use of the App
This indemnification obligation does not apply to the extent that a claim arises from InspectPro's own negligence or breach of these Terms.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 Our IP
InspectPro, its design, software, trademarks, and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by or licensed to Selah AI Consulting Ltd. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
12.2 Your License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App solely for your own inspection work in accordance with these Terms. This licence terminates automatically if you breach these Terms or your subscription lapses.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Sublicense, sell, transfer, or otherwise make the App available to third parties except as permitted under an enterprise seat
12.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use that feedback for the purpose of improving the App, without compensation to you.
13. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our collection, use, and storage of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains:
- What personal information we collect and why
- How we use and store your information
- How we share information (including with Stripe and Supabase)
- Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020
- How to make a privacy complaint
By using the App, you acknowledge that we collect and use your information as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Our Privacy Policy explains the purposes for which we collect your information and your rights under the Privacy Act.
14. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — cloud infrastructure (used for account data, subscription verification, and temporary PDF storage)
- Apple App Store — app distribution
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. InspectPro is not responsible for the acts or omissions of these third parties.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Post the updated Terms in the App
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document
- Where required by law or App Store guidelines, request your re-acceptance within the App
For material changes that affect your existing rights, we will provide at least 14 days' notice before the changes take effect, unless a shorter period is required by law.
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and may cancel your subscription in accordance with our Billing Policy.
16. Termination
16.1 Termination by You
You may stop using InspectPro at any time. To cancel your subscription, follow the cancellation instructions in the App or contact us at support@aiconsult.co.nz. Cancellation and refund rights are governed by our Billing Policy.
16.2 Termination by InspectPro
InspectPro may suspend or terminate your access to the App in the following circumstances:
With notice:
- For a breach of these Terms that is capable of remedy — we will give you 14 days' written notice (by email) and an opportunity to remedy the breach. If the breach is not remedied within that period, we may terminate your access.
- For any other reason not related to breach — we will give you 30 days' written notice.
Immediately (without notice):
- For a serious or material breach of these Terms that is not capable of remedy (including fraudulent use, illegal activity, or conduct that poses immediate harm to other users or third parties)
- If required to do so by law or court order
Refunds on termination:
Where InspectPro terminates your access for reasons other than your breach, we will provide a pro-rata refund of any prepaid subscription fees for the unexpired subscription period. No refund is payable where termination is for your breach of these Terms.
16.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your licence to use the App ends
- Your subscription will not be renewed
- Your locally stored data remains on your device and is not deleted by us as a result of termination
- Any pending PDF uploads subject to a deletion window will be deleted in accordance with the schedule in clause 6.3
16.4 Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account at any time. Before requesting account deletion, you must cancel any active subscription. Upon account deletion:
- Account data held on our servers will be deleted within 30 days of the deletion request.
- Any temporary PDFs (Approval Workflow or Send to Client) that have not yet been automatically deleted will be queued for deletion.
- All local data on your device will be permanently deleted when the App is uninstalled or when you clear app data.
- Account deletion is irreversible. We recommend exporting any important data before requesting deletion.
17. Dispute Resolution
InspectPro is committed to resolving disputes fairly.
Step 1 — Contact us. If you have a concern or complaint, please email us at support@aiconsult.co.nz. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and work in good faith to resolve it within 14 business days.
Step 2 — Mediation. If direct resolution fails and both parties agree, the dispute may be referred to mediation by a mutually agreed independent mediator.
Step 3 — Courts and Tribunals. If mediation fails or either party declines mediation, either party may bring proceedings in:
- The New Zealand Disputes Tribunal (for claims up to NZD $30,000); or
- Any court of competent jurisdiction in New Zealand.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or interim relief from a court.
Consumers: Nothing in this dispute resolution clause limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or your right to make a complaint to the Commerce Commission.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
19. General
19.1 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if it cannot be modified, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19.2 Waiver
A failure or delay by either party to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
19.3 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all our assets, with reasonable notice to you.
19.4 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Billing Policy, and EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and InspectPro regarding the use of the App. They supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings relating to the App.
19.5 Apple Terms
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's App Store terms and conditions also apply to your use of the App. In the event of a conflict between Apple's terms and these Terms, Apple's terms prevail to the extent required by Apple's guidelines.

InspectPro Privacy Policy
Version 3.1 — Last Updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how InspectPro ("we", "our", "us") — operated by aiconsult.co.nz — collects, stores, uses, and discloses your personal information. This policy is written in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its 13 Information Privacy Principles (IPPs).
By using InspectPro, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to:
- Solo inspectors who subscribe directly to InspectPro
- Enterprise users who access InspectPro through a company or team subscription
References to "you" and "your" include both solo and enterprise users.
2. What Personal Information We Collect
We only collect personal information that is necessary to provide the InspectPro service (IPP 1).
2.1 Account Information
- Email address — required to create an account, authenticate your identity, and manage your subscription
- Password — stored as a hashed credential; we never store your password in plain text
- Inspector name — as you enter it for use on reports (optional, but used on reports if provided)
2.2 Client and Inspection Data (entered by you)
- Client names, email addresses, phone numbers, and property addresses
- Inspection photos, notes, comments, severity ratings, and recommendations
- Company association and subscription membership (for enterprise accounts)
This data is entered by you to produce inspection reports. Providing it is at your discretion.
2.3 Subscription and Billing Data
- Subscription status and renewal dates
- Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not collect or store payment card numbers (see Section 6.2)
2.4 Device and Usage Information
- Device type and operating system version, collected solely for app compatibility purposes
- We do not collect location data, advertising identifiers, or behavioural tracking data
3. Why We Collect This Information and How It Is Used (IPP 3, IPP 10)
We collect personal information only for the following purposes:
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and password | Account authentication and subscription management | Contract performance |
| Client and inspection data | Generating inspection reports on your device | Contract performance |
| Photos and notes | Local report creation (see Section 4) | Contract performance |
| Subscription status | Verifying your access to the service | Contract performance |
| Device information | App compatibility and troubleshooting | Necessary for the provision and maintenance of the service (IPP 1) |
We will not use your personal information for any purpose other than those listed above without your explicit consent.
4. How and Where Your Data Is Stored
InspectPro uses a local-first storage model. Your device is where your data is stored for your data. Supabase cloud infrastructure is used in limited, specific circumstances described below.
4.1 Device (Primary Storage)
All inspection data — including photos, notes, client details, report history, and subscription cache — is stored locally on your device as the only copy held within InspectPro. This data is under your direct control.
- You can delete individual inspections, photos, or client records at any time within the app
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
- We recommend maintaining your own backups via the in-app backup feature as an additional precaution
4.2 Backup Options
InspectPro provides two backup mechanisms. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.
4.2 Manual Backup (user-initiated)
You can create a full backup of all your data at any time via Settings → Data Management → Backup. This generates a ZIP file containing all inspections, photos, and settings, which you can save to your preferred location (Files, email, cloud storage, etc.). You can restore from a backup ZIP via the same screen. Restoring from a backup replaces all existing inspection data on your device.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. InspectPro does not automatically sync inspection data to our servers. Your inspection data, photos, and notes are stored locally on your device only. We strongly recommend performing regular backups, particularly before uninstalling the app, changing devices, or after completing important inspections.
4.3 Supabase — Account and Subscription Data
Your account credentials (email, encrypted password hash) and subscription/membership status are stored in Supabase's hosted PostgreSQL database. This is required to authenticate your account and verify your subscription.
- Subscription status is also cached locally on your device (including plan type, status, and expiry date) for offline access
- This cache is refreshed when the app connects to the internet
4.4 Supabase — Temporary PDF Storage (Approval and Delivery Workflows)
When you use the Approval Workflow (submit for manager approval) or Send to Client features, a finalised PDF report is temporarily uploaded to Supabase Storage to facilitate delivery.
These uploads are:
- Always user-initiated — only triggered when you explicitly use these features
- Scoped to your company account — not visible to other accounts
- Accessible only via time-limited signed URLs
- Automatically deleted on a fixed schedule:
- Approval Workflow PDFs: deleted 72 hours after upload
- Send to Client PDFs: deleted 7 days after upload
PDF reports may contain client names, property addresses, photos, notes, severity ratings, and recommendations.
5. Offshore Data Transfer (IPP 13)
Some of your personal information is transferred to and stored offshore, via our third-party service providers. Before any offshore transfer, we satisfy ourselves on reasonable grounds that the recipient organisation is subject to privacy obligations comparable to those in the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, whether by contract, binding corporate rules, or the laws of the recipient jurisdiction (IPP 13(1)(a)).
| Provider | Data transferred | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Account data, temporary PDFs | United States, Europe |
| Stripe | Payment processing (handled on Stripe's infrastructure) | United States |
Supabase participates in industry-standard data protection frameworks. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
Stripe maintains SOC 2 Type II certification and PCI-DSS compliance. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
6. Third-Party Services
6.1 Supabase (Authentication, Database, and Storage)
- Purpose: Account authentication, subscription verification, and temporary PDF storage for Approval Workflow and Send to Client features
- Data shared: Email address, encrypted password hash, subscription status, and temporary PDF uploads
- Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
6.2 Stripe (Payment Processing)
- Purpose: Subscription billing and payment processing
- How it works: Payment is handled on Stripe's hosted pages. We do not collect, process, or store your payment card details. Stripe receives your payment information directly.
- Privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure (IPP 11)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
Your data is only disclosed in the following circumstances:
- To Supabase — as described in Section 4 (authentication, subscription verification, temporary PDFs)
- To Stripe — for payment processing when you subscribe or manage your billing
- By you — when you explicitly share a PDF report via email, messaging, or other apps on your device
- If required by law — in response to a valid legal obligation, court order, or request from a regulatory authority with jurisdiction over our business
- To protect health or safety — if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent or lessen a serious threat to public health, public safety, or the life or health of an individual, or is necessary for the conduct of proceedings before any court or tribunal (in accordance with section 22 of the Privacy Act 2020)
8. Data Security (IPP 5)
We implement reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information:
- Local device storage: Protected by your device's built-in security (iOS encryption, biometric lock)
- Authentication tokens: Encrypted using AES-256 before storage, with keys held in the device's Secure Enclave (Expo SecureStore)
- Network communication: All data transfers use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Supabase account data: Encrypted in transit and at rest; scoped to your account
- Temporary PDFs: Scoped to your company account; accessible only via time-limited signed URLs; auto-deleted after 72 hours or 7 days as applicable
Despite our best efforts, no system is completely secure. If you become aware of any security issue, please contact our Privacy Officer immediately.
8.1 Privacy Breach Notification (IPP 3A)
If we become aware of a notifiable privacy breach (as defined in the Privacy Act 2020), we will notify the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner and affected individuals as soon as practicable after becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with IPP 3A. A notifiable breach is one that it is reasonable to believe has caused, or is likely to cause, serious harm to affected individuals.
9. Data Accuracy (IPP 8)
We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information we hold about you is accurate, up to date, complete, and not misleading. Inspection data and client information is entered by you and is within your direct control to update. If you believe any account information we hold is inaccurate, you have the right to request correction (see Section 10).
10. Your Rights Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020
You have the following rights in relation to personal information we hold about you:
Right to Access (IPP 6)
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you. Inspection data, client data, and report history are accessible directly within the app. For account data stored in Supabase, contact our Privacy Officer and we will respond within 20 working days as required by the Privacy Act 2020.
Right to Correction (IPP 7)
You may request that we correct any personal information we hold about you that is inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, or out of date. We will either make the correction or, if we disagree, attach a note of your requested correction to the record. Contact our Privacy Officer to make a correction request.
Right to Delete
- You may delete any inspection, photo, client record, or account at any time within the app
- Account data held in Supabase will be deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request
- Local device data is deleted when you remove records in-app, clear app data, or uninstall the app
Right to Complain
If you believe we have breached the Privacy Act 2020, you may:
- Contact our Privacy Officer (details below) — we will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and respond within 20 working days
- If you are not satisfied with our response, complain to the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz or call 0800 803 909
11. Data Retention (IPP 9)
We do not retain personal information longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
| Data type | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Local inspection data | Until you delete it or uninstall the app |
| Manual backup data (ZIP exports) | Under your control; stored wherever you save the file |
| Account data (email, credentials) | Until you request account deletion, then deleted within 30 days |
| Subscription/billing history | Up to 7 years for financial compliance (NZ tax law) |
| Approval Workflow PDFs | Auto-deleted 72 hours after upload |
| Send to Client PDFs | Auto-deleted 7 days after upload |
| Device subscription cache | Until refreshed or app uninstalled |
12. Unique Identifiers (IPP 12)
We do not collect or use government-issued identifiers such as IRD numbers, driver licence numbers, or passport numbers. Your account is identified by your email address and an internally generated user ID.
13. Enterprise Accounts
If you access InspectPro through a company or team subscription:
- Your account is associated with your company's subscription in our database
- Company administrators may have access to subscription and account membership data
- Inspection data and reports are stored locally on your device

InspectPro End User License Agreement (EULA)
Version 5.2 — Last Updated: April 2026
1. Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and InspectPro (operated by Selah AI Consulting Ltd, "we", "our", or "us") for the use of the InspectPro mobile application and related services (collectively, "the App").
InspectPro is available to both individual solo inspectors subscribing directly and to organisations or companies whose employees or contractors use the App under an organisational subscription.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree, do not download or use the App.
This EULA should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Billing Policy.
2. Consumer Rights — CGA Notice
Nothing in this EULA excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) or the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA) that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
If you are a consumer (an individual acquiring the App for personal use or for a business that is not acquiring the App in trade), you have statutory guarantees that the App will be of acceptable quality, fit for its purpose, and that our services will be performed with reasonable care and skill.
If you are acquiring the App in trade (as a business purchaser) and both parties agree it is fair and reasonable to contract out of the CGA guarantees, the parties agree pursuant to s 43 of the CGA that the guarantees under the CGA do not apply to this transaction, to the extent permitted by law. This exclusion only applies where the acquisition is wholly or predominantly for business purposes and the exclusion is fair and reasonable in the circumstances.
For users in Australia: nothing in this EULA excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be lawfully excluded. Australian consumers have non-excludable guarantees that the App will be of acceptable quality and fit for its stated purpose.
3. License Grant
3.1 Solo and Pro User License
If you subscribe directly as an individual under the InspectPro subscription ($90.85/month NZD, GST-inclusive / $79.00 ex-GST) ("Subscriber"), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on mobile devices that you own or control, for the duration of your active subscription.
Subscribers are responsible for:
- Purchasing and managing their own subscription
- All billing and payment matters (handled via Stripe — see our Billing Policy)
- Maintaining the security of their account credentials
3.2 Free Trial
To use the App, you must register and create an account with a valid email address. A 10-day free trial is provided upon account creation, with full access to all features. During the trial, you may create up to 10 inspections. After the trial period ends or once the inspection limit is reached, a paid subscription is required to create new inspections. The App will lock and no new inspections can be created until a subscription is activated.
If you do not subscribe at the end of the trial period, your ability to create new reports and export content will be suspended. Your existing locally stored data will remain on your device. You may subscribe at any time to restore full functionality.
Trial terms, any auto-renewal, and cancellation procedures are described in our Billing Policy. Please review those terms before subscribing.
3.3 Company License
If your employer or organisation holds a subscription ("Company"), the licence is granted to your Company. You are authorised to use the App as an end user under the Company's subscription for the duration of that subscription.
Your Company is responsible for:
- Purchasing and managing the subscription
- Inviting, managing, and removing users (employees/contractors)
- All billing and payment matters
As a Company end user, you are NOT required to:
- Make any payments to use the App
- Manage subscription billing
- Purchase upgrades or additional features
Your company administrator manages seat allocation and subscription status.
4. Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law
- Sublicense, rent, or lend the App to third parties
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App
- Share account credentials with unauthorised users
- Circumvent subscription or access controls
- Use the App to store or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including all content, features, and functionality (code, design, graphics, logos, trademarks), is owned by or licensed to InspectPro and is protected by New Zealand and international intellectual property laws.
This EULA grants you a licence to use the App only. It does not transfer any ownership of the App or any intellectual property to you, and it does not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
6. Your Data and User-Generated Content
6.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you create using the App, including photos, inspection notes, and reports. We do not claim any ownership over your inspection content.
6.2 Local Storage (Primary)
Inspection content is stored locally on your device as the only copy held within InspectPro. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups and for any loss of locally stored data.
6.3 Manual Backup (user-initiated)
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.
You can create a full backup at any time via Settings → Data Management → Backup. This generates a ZIP file containing all inspections, photos, and settings. You can restore from a backup via the same screen. Restoring from a backup replaces all existing inspection data on your device.
We also recommend maintaining your own backups using your device's built-in backup features (e.g. iCloud device backup) as an additional precaution. These are independent of InspectPro.
InspectPro does not automatically sync inspection data to our servers. Your inspection content is stored locally on your device only.
6.4 Temporary PDF Uploads
When you use the Approval Workflow or Send to Client features, finalised PDF reports are temporarily uploaded to Supabase Storage to enable those delivery flows:
- Approval PDFs are automatically deleted after 72 hours
- Client delivery PDFs are automatically deleted after 7 days
Outside of these user-initiated flows, we do not access or process your inspection content for any purpose.
6.5 Data on Termination
On account termination or subscription cancellation, your account data in Supabase will be retained for up to 90 days following the termination date to allow for account recovery or data export, after which it will be permanently deleted. Pending PDF delivery files will be deleted on their automated schedule (72h / 7 days). Your locally stored data remains under your control and is not affected by account termination.
7. Subscription and Payment
Subscription billing, trial periods, cancellation, refund, and payment terms are set out in our Billing Policy. We do not process or store payment card information — all payments are handled securely by Stripe. In the event of any conflict between this EULA and the Billing Policy on billing matters, the Billing Policy prevails.
8. Warranties
We will provide the App with reasonable care and skill. We aim to ensure the App performs reliably and as described, though we cannot guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the extent permitted by the CGA and applicable law, we do not warrant that:
- The App will meet all of your individual requirements
- The App will be continuously available or error-free
- Any errors or defects will be corrected within a specific timeframe
For consumers: the CGA implies guarantees about the quality of the App and our services that cannot be excluded. See Section 2.
For business users acquiring the App in trade: the above limitations and exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Consumer Users (CGA Applies)
If you are a consumer under the CGA, our liability for any failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is governed by the CGA. We are not entitled to and do not exclude or limit those statutory remedies.
9.2 Business Users (CGA Excluded)
Where you acquire the App in trade and the CGA is excluded under Section 2:
- Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under or in connection with this EULA shall not exceed the total fees you paid to InspectPro in the 12 months preceding the claim, or NZD $500, whichever is greater.
- We exclude all liability for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
9.3 All Users
Nothing in this EULA excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law
10. Indemnification
This indemnification obligation applies only to business users (as defined in section 2). Nothing in this clause requires a consumer to indemnify InspectPro beyond what is permitted by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Business users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InspectPro and its officers, directors, and employees from any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising directly from:
(a) your material breach of this EULA;
(b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or
(c) content you submit or transmit through the App that infringes any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
This indemnification does not apply to any claims arising from InspectPro's own acts, omissions, negligence, or breach of this EULA.
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by InspectPro
We may terminate this EULA and your access to the App if you materially breach its terms and fail to remedy the breach within 14 days of written notice from us specifying the breach and the remedy required.
Termination is immediate and without notice where:
- The breach is not capable of remedy; or
- Required by applicable law; or
- You use the App for unlawful purposes or in a way that poses security risks to other users.
Where InspectPro terminates this EULA for any reason other than breach, we will provide at least 30 days' prior written notice.
11.2 Termination by You
You may terminate this EULA at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling your subscription in accordance with our Billing Policy.
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App ceases immediately
- Your locally stored data remains on your device
- Server-side account data (account information and any pending temporary PDF files) will be deleted in accordance with Section 6.5
- Sections 4, 5, 9, 10, 12, and 13 survive termination
12. Updates and Changes
12.1 App Updates
We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. Certain updates may be required for continued use of the App. Your continued use of the App following an update constitutes acceptance of the updated App.
12.2 EULA Changes
We may update this EULA from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by email prior to the changes taking effect. If you do not accept the material changes, you may terminate this EULA and cancel your subscription before the effective date without penalty. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated EULA.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first if you have a dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly by contacting us at support@aiconsult.co.nz. We will attempt to resolve any dispute informally within 30 days.
13.2 Disputes Tribunal
If informal resolution fails and your claim is within the jurisdiction of the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal (generally up to NZD $30,000), you may refer the matter to the Disputes Tribunal.
13.3 Courts
For claims outside Disputes Tribunal jurisdiction, disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This EULA is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
15. Apple App Store Additional Terms
The following terms apply where you have acquired the App through Apple's App Store:
- Acknowledgement: You acknowledge that this EULA is between you and InspectPro only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). InspectPro, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Scope of Licence: The licence granted in this EULA is a limited, non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded product you own or control and as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
- Maintenance and Support: Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App. InspectPro is solely responsible for providing any such support to the extent required under applicable law or under this EULA.
- Warranty: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
- Product Liability: InspectPro, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- Intellectual Property: In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights, InspectPro, not Apple, will be responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
- Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA. Upon your acceptance of this EULA, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- Third-Party Terms: You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App (e.g., if you use a VoIP application, you must not be in violation of your wireless data service agreement).
16. General
16.1 Severability
If any provision of this EULA is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16.2 Waiver
Failure by either party to enforce any right or provision of this EULA does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
16.3 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under this EULA without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights under this EULA without restriction.
16.4 Entire Agreement
This EULA, together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Billing Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and InspectPro regarding the App and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, and understandings relating to the same subject matter.

Billing Policy
InspectPro — Property Inspection Software
_Last Updated: April 2026 | Version 2.2_
This Billing Policy explains how InspectPro handles subscriptions, payments, cancellations, refunds, and account access. It applies to all users and accounts using InspectPro.
This policy forms part of our Terms of Use and End User License Agreement. In the event of any conflict, this policy applies to billing matters.
Your legal rights: Nothing in this policy limits or excludes rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ), the Fair Trading Act 1986 (NZ), or any other applicable New Zealand law. Where those laws grant you rights, they apply regardless of what this policy states.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
Different rights and obligations apply depending on how you use InspectPro.
Consumer users are individuals who acquire InspectPro primarily for personal use, or not principally in the course of a trade, business, or profession. Individual subscribers are presumed to be consumers under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) unless they indicate otherwise. Consumer users have rights under the CGA that cannot be excluded or limited by this policy.
Business users are persons or entities that acquire InspectPro in the course of carrying on a trade, business, or profession. Where both parties agree the acquisition is clearly for business purposes, certain CGA provisions may not apply (CGA s.43).
If you are unsure which category applies to your situation, contact us at billing@aiconsult.co.nz.
2. Free Trial
InspectPro offers a 10-day free trial to new users. No payment method is required to start a trial.
How the trial works:
- Create an account with a valid email address to begin your trial — no credit card is required.
- All subscription features are available during the trial period, with a limit of 10 inspection creations. Report exports are unrestricted.
- The trial applies once per account.
| Trial feature | Limit |
|---|---|
| Duration | 10 days from account creation |
| Inspection creations | Up to 10 |
| Report exports | Unrestricted |
| Payment required | No |
Auto-renewal and consumer rights: If you subscribe during or after your trial, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period. If you are charged without adequate prior notice of the renewal or the amount, you may be entitled to a refund under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Contact us at billing@aiconsult.co.nz if you believe you were charged without adequate notice.
At the end of your trial:
- If you have not entered a payment method: paid features will be locked at the end of day 10. You can still view and export any inspections completed during the trial period at no charge.
- If you have entered a payment method and activated a subscription: your chosen subscription will continue automatically from the date the trial ends. You will receive a reminder notification at least 48 hours before your first charge is processed.
What "free" means: The trial period costs nothing. You will not be charged unless you explicitly choose to subscribe and provide a valid payment method. We will never charge you without clear advance notice.
Trial limitations: The free trial is offered once per device or account. Creating additional accounts to obtain further trials may result in account suspension.
3. Subscription Plans
InspectPro offers a monthly subscription — one plan, full access for all users:
| Plan | Price (NZD, GST-inclusive) | Price (ex-GST) |
|---|---|---|
| InspectPro | $90.85/month | $79.00/month |
GST note: $90.85/month is the GST-inclusive price (15% GST applied). Ex-GST price is $79.00/month. GST-itemised invoices are available from the Stripe Customer Portal.
Enterprise and multi-seat subscriptions are available at a per-seat rate. We will give you at least 30 days' written notice (by email and/or in-app notification) before any price increase takes effect. The new price will not apply until the start of your next billing period following the expiry of the notice period. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel your subscription without penalty before the new price applies. Continuing to use the App after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. For consumer users, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are not affected by any price change.
Current pricing is available at inspectpro.co.nz/pricing.
Price changes: We may change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice of any price increase by email to your registered address and by notice within the App. For consumer users, the new price will not apply until the start of your next billing period following the notice period, and you may cancel before that date without penalty.
4. Billing & Payment
- Subscriptions renew automatically on the same calendar day each month, corresponding to the date your subscription commenced.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. InspectPro does not store or have access to your full payment card details.
- You can manage your billing details, update your payment method, download invoices, and change your subscription plan at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal (accessible from within the App).
- GST-inclusive tax invoices are available from the Stripe Customer Portal.
- For billing questions or assistance, contact us at billing@aiconsult.co.nz.
Plan changes mid-cycle: If you upgrade your plan during a billing period, the price difference will be charged on a pro-rata basis for the remaining days of that billing period. If you downgrade your plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
5. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, or by contacting us at billing@aiconsult.co.nz.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full subscription access until that date.
- After your billing period ends, your account enters Restricted Mode (see §7).
Note for consumer users: Cancellation before the end of a billing period does not automatically entitle you to a partial refund of the remaining days — however, if InspectPro has failed to meet a consumer guarantee under the CGA, you may be entitled to a remedy. See §8.
6. Failed Payments
- If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry over a 7-day period.
- During the retry window, your account retains full access.
- We will notify your account's registered email address on the first payment failure and again before access is restricted.
- If payment is not successfully collected after 7 days, your account will enter Restricted Mode (see §7).
- To resolve a failed payment: update your payment method in the Stripe Customer Portal, or contact billing@aiconsult.co.nz.
- Once payment is successfully processed, full access is restored immediately.
7. Restricted Mode
Your account enters Restricted Mode when:
- Your free trial ends and you have not activated a subscription
- Your subscription is cancelled and the billing period has ended
- A failed payment has not been resolved within the 7-day grace period
- Your account is suspended for a Terms of Use violation
What happens in Restricted Mode:
- No new inspections can be created
- Existing inspections and photos remain accessible on your device (data is stored locally)
- Existing completed reports can still be viewed and exported as PDFs
- New report exports for reports created *after* restriction commenced are not available
- Account data is retained for 90 days from the date of restriction, after which server-side account data may be deleted (see §9). If you explicitly request account deletion during this period, server-side data will be deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request (see §9)
Restoring full access: Resubscribe through the Stripe Customer Portal or contact billing@aiconsult.co.nz.
8. Refunds and Consumer Rights
8.1 Consumer Rights Under the CGA (Consumer Users)
If you are a consumer user (see §1), you have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by this policy. They include:
- The right to a remedy (which may include a refund) if InspectPro fails to meet the consumer guarantees — for example, if the service is not fit for its purpose, not of acceptable quality, or not as described.
- If the failure is minor, we are entitled to remedy it (e.g., by fixing the issue). If the failure is substantial or cannot be fixed, you may be entitled to cancel the service and receive a refund.
If you believe InspectPro has failed to meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us at billing@aiconsult.co.nz. We will assess your situation and respond within 5 business days. Your CGA rights exist regardless of our general refund policy below.
8.2 General Refund Policy
For business users and for situations not covered by the CGA:
- No refund is issued for partial billing periods when you cancel a subscription.
- No refund is issued for change of mind after a subscription payment has been processed.
- No refund is issued for unused days during a billing period.
For all users, where InspectPro experiences a prolonged material service failure (for example, core functionality being unavailable for more than 24 hours through our fault), we may at our discretion provide a pro-rata credit or partial refund for the affected period.
8.3 How to Request a Refund
Contact billing@aiconsult.co.nz within 30 days of the charge. Please include:
- Your account email address
- The charge date and amount
- A description of the issue or concern
We will respond within 5 business days.
9. Your Data
Data stored on your device: Inspection data, photos, and completed reports are stored locally on your device. InspectPro does not delete this data as a result of subscription changes, cancellation, or account restriction.
Data stored by InspectPro (server-side): Your account information (email address, subscription history, billing records) is stored on our servers.
- During an active subscription or Restricted Mode period: your server-side account data is retained.
- Where you explicitly request account deletion: server-side account data will be deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- After account termination or expiry of Restricted Mode (no deletion request made): server-side account data is retained for up to 90 days to allow for reactivation or data export requests. After 90 days, account data may be permanently deleted.
- You may request export or deletion of your server-side data at any time by contacting privacy@aiconsult.co.nz. We will process your request in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
10. Termination by InspectPro
InspectPro may restrict or terminate your account for:
- Violation of our Terms of Use
- Suspected fraud, abuse, or illegal activity
- Non-payment after the 7-day grace period
For non-payment: Accounts enter Restricted Mode — they are not immediately terminated. Termination occurs only if the account remains unresolved after the 90-day retention period in §9.
For serious violations (fraud, abuse, illegal activity): We may terminate your account immediately without prior notice.
Effect of termination:
- Your subscription will not be renewed and no further charges will be made.
- Your locally stored device data is not affected.
- Server-side data is retained for 90 days, then deleted (see §9).
Disputes: To dispute a restriction or termination decision, contact billing@aiconsult.co.nz. Consumer users may also contact the NZ Commerce Commission (comcom.govt.nz) or take a claim to the Disputes Tribunal if they believe their consumer rights have been breached.
11. Your Rights Under New Zealand and Australian Law
Nothing in this Billing Policy limits or excludes any rights you have under:
- Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ)
- Fair Trading Act 1986 (NZ)
- Privacy Act 2020 (NZ)
- Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth))
- Any other applicable legislation
For Australian consumers: you may be entitled to a refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. For a minor failure, we are entitled to choose to repair or replace before a refund is required.
Where those Acts grant you rights, they apply regardless of what this policy states. If any provision of this policy is found to be unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
External dispute resolution: If you are a consumer user and are not satisfied with our response to a complaint, you may contact the NZ Commerce Commission (comcom.govt.nz) or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (accc.gov.au) for guidance on your rights, or make a claim at the Disputes Tribunal (disputestribunal.govt.nz) for disputes up to $30,000.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Billing Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by:
- Email to your registered account address
- In-app notice
For material changes that affect your costs or rights, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect. You may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect without penalty if you do not accept the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
This Billing Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Disputes arising under this policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts, as described in our Terms of Use.

InspectPro — Report Disclaimer
Version 1.2 — April 2026
Short Version (for in-app display at report generation)
This report was created using InspectPro, a recording and reporting tool.
>
The accuracy, completeness, and professional adequacy of this report is the sole responsibility of the inspector named below. InspectPro provides the tool — not the inspection. This report does not constitute professional advice to any third party, including property buyers, lenders, or insurers. Report data is stored locally on the inspector's device and may be temporarily uploaded for report delivery. Do not rely on this report as an independent property assessment.
Full Disclaimer
1. InspectPro is a Tool, Not a Professional Service
InspectPro is a mobile application that enables building inspectors to record observations, attach photographs, and generate structured reports. It is a recording and reporting tool only.
InspectPro:
- Does not conduct, supervise, or verify property inspections
- Does not provide building, structural, or engineering advice
- Does not certify or endorse the contents of any report
- Does not determine whether an inspection meets any professional, regulatory, or industry standard
- Does not guarantee that inspection section configuration cover all defects, conditions, or requirements relevant to any particular inspection
2. Inspector's Professional Responsibility
The inspector who created this report is a building inspector acting in their professional capacity acting in their professional capacity. They bear sole and exclusive responsibility for:
- The accuracy and completeness of all inspection findings recorded in this report
- The professional judgment applied during the inspection
- Compliance with applicable professional standards, regulations, and codes of practice
- The sufficiency and scope of the inspection conducted
- Any recommendations, opinions, or assessments expressed in this report
By generating this report using InspectPro, the inspector confirms they have independently verified all findings and take full professional responsibility for the content.
3. Data Integrity vs Inspection Accuracy — These Are Different Things
Data integrity refers to whether the app stores and retrieves your data reliably. InspectPro makes reasonable efforts to maintain data integrity but does not guarantee that data will be free from error, corruption, or loss.
Inspection accuracy refers to whether the inspector correctly identified, recorded, and interpreted all relevant conditions at the property. This is entirely the inspector's professional responsibility. InspectPro has no visibility into, and makes no representation about, the quality or completeness of any inspection.
A report that is technically well-stored is not necessarily an accurate or complete inspection report. These are independent matters. InspectPro's responsibility extends only to the former.
4. Data Storage — How Your Report is Stored
InspectPro uses a local-first storage model:
- Primary storage: Your device (iPhone/iPad). Inspection data, photos, and reports are stored locally on the inspecting device. This is the authoritative source of record.
- Manual backup: You can export a full backup at any time via Settings → Data Management. Restoring from a backup replaces all existing inspection data on your device. InspectPro does not automatically sync inspection data to our servers.
- Temporary PDF storage: When you use the Approval Workflow or Send to Client features, a PDF of this report is temporarily uploaded to temporary cloud storage (Supabase Storage) to enable delivery. These PDFs are automatically and permanently deleted after:
